X for Xenophobia

Soo. X is not exactly an easy letter to come up with something so Xenophobia is what I settled with.

Xenophobia is basically an irrational fear of foreigners.

It's something I feel people in this country are very much part of and it really makes me feel quite ashamed. As much as the world has moved on in the last few tens of years I still feel there is a long way to go. Personally where I live is probably 99% white British and people do not seem to move away. This probably plays a role in the fact that a large percentage of people are also racist and use 'casual racism' on a day to day basis. It's a shame that people have not travelled or got to know anyone of a different background and shows that people are still poorly educated when it comes to race.
